Designer

As part of the design team, you will work with the Creative Director and other designers to create a brand identity for upcoming events and all creative content for TEDxUofT. This includes everything from digital and print material, to merchandise, stage designs and planning attendee experience.

Partner Relations
Coordinator

On the Partner Relations team, you will be planning TEDxUofT’s annual event from a financial perspective. This role includes securing, developing, and maintaining relations with both university and corporate partners, while working to ensure a balanced budget.

Performer Relations
Coordinator

Your role will be to find artists, performers, and an emcee for the conference to enhance attendee experience. You will be responsible for the open call for applications for artists in the fall. Performances may range from music to comedy and beyond. Past performances include Max & Eyeda, UofT Jazz and RRB Dance Company.

Photographer

As a photographer, you will be working closely with design and marketing team and contribute to creative photo content for social media campaigns. You will also be responsible for providing photographic coverage for TEDxUofT Salons and our annual conference consistent with the TEDxUofT branding strategy.

Public Relations
Coordinator

As a PR Coordinator, you will be working closely with the Social Media Specialist to develop and execute a marketing plan. You will be responsible for coordinating all outreach outside of social media such as our newsletter. This includes outreach to UofT Communications, UofT departments, and Toronto media outlets.

Logistics
Director

You will be responsible for the behind-the-scenes of the conference including venue communications; organizing catering (breakfast, lunch, and snacks); and ensuring organized distribution of all conference deliverables. You will work closely with the partnerships team to ensure costs fit the budget and to set a professional standard for all delegates attending the conference.

Logistics:
Volunteer Manager

The Volunteer Manager will work as a team with the Logistics Director to organize all the logistical aspects of the conference. Your responsibilities primarily involve hiring, training and managing our large team of volunteers, including managing CCR and preparing volunteer materials.

Speaker Relations
Coordinator

You will be part of the speakers team, and responsible for sourcing speakers for upcoming TEDxUofT events. This role includes recruiting speakers and working with them to help them prepare amazing talks while ensuring they have a positive experience before, during, and after the event.

Social Media
Specialist

The Social Media Specialist works closely with the PR Coordinator to develop and execute a marketing plan, and is responsible for growing and engaging with TEDxUofT’s community through platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and email (MailChimp).

Videographer

As a videographer, you will be working closely with design and marketing team to contributing creative video content for social media campaigns. You will be responsible for providing video coverage for TEDxUofT Salons and our annual conference that is consistent with the TEDxUofT branding strategy.
